Thanks for that.  Yep Small Bear have them.  I just looked.  They call it a W taper.  And specifically name the 20k as a TS tone pot.

"W" tapers are used on graphic eq's as well.  (If memory serves, my Boss EQ pedal has 8 little slider pots that are this taper.)

I've also just found one on ebay, but with postage to Australia, that's a $30 pot!

Hopefully Small Bear have better postage rates...

Roland/Boss used to offer many smaller spare parts.  I've only got good things to say about them - however it's some years since i've dealt with them, the era before the corporate control freaks started making you buy a new device when a $2 part breaks.
