Hmm...aren't there some knobs missing for three effects?  I only see enough knobs there for the TS-808 and the Fuzz Face...the Yardbox has 4 knobs.

someone once said, that for the price of this book he would expect the dude to jump out of the book and build pedals for him..  

adding to this is the "for this price it should make my toenails smile.." now this is also funny.  but for a grand for a distortion pedal.  i can' say what it should do to me

and i don't know where the schematic for this is, but for this insane ridiculous price, maybe we should clone this thing on the outside, build something meaner on the inside,  say it has been heavily modded, for a fatter more agressive tone. and put it up and make some money.

now saying that i will stand in the corner and await my beating.  but seriously doesn't it make you sick sometimes that someone would pay so much for something like that that they should be taken advantage of.. oh wait they were. they paid a grand for a pedal.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't suprise me if it turns up on auction again with a note about the previous bidder not paying up and a buy it now price less than what it went for the first time, but still over priced.  When I see one bid, on something like a stompbox made of less than 40 dollars worth of material it makes me doubt the auction.  Makes me think the buyer and the seller are the same.  I could be wrong, but thats just my opinion.

That, and the fact that I see about 15 bands a week on average and whatever prejudices I have against a particular brand of equipment (for some Peavy and Crate will qualify a shudder) some genius player will make said piece of despised gear sound incredible.  Then, on the other hand I see a half dozen fuzz factories utilised to %20 of their possible creative potential.  The secret seems to be in being able to play, supposidly.  I haven't gotten that far yet.
