15 malfunctioning MN3007?!

Regarding wiring MN3007 vs MN3207.

Take a look at the 3007 based electric mistress ...

Both these circuits run happliy on 9V.

The only significant differences are the voltage applied to pins 1, 4 and 5 on the BBDs.

Using the convention Vcc = +9V for both circuits:

For the 3007:  Pin 1 = Vcc.    Pin5 = 0V     Pin 4 = Vcc/15         (i.e. near 0V)   
For the 3207:  Pin 1 = 0V.     Pin5 = Vcc    Pin 4 = Vcc*14/15   (i.e.  near Vcc)
