hey all,
got contacted by a cat who asked me to look at his older mono shapeshifter. he said the tap tempo only works when the pedal is "on", unbypasssed. in bypass, the tap apparently does nothing.

he wants to have me mod it so that he can set the tempo bypassed or non,

so i'm assuming that the easiest thing to do is to wire the circuit always on, and true bypass it, yes? seems that way, he can tap whatever he wants in either way and then turn it on.

if i do this, should i set the switch up to ground the input and output of the board? i do have some 4pdt's kicking around, or is that overkill? i don't want it to "tick" on bypass for him.

so anyways, any advice gratefully appreciated. rock on!
