Boss DF-2 Super Feedbacker Repair

Hi Folks,
Just picked up a MIJ Boss Superfeedbacker and Distortion for a song today. Pretty happy as I've been on the hunt for one for cheap for a while. Big Boris fan. However, when using the feedbacker the function the resulting "feedback" is pretty gated. This results in a more of a tremolo feedback effect rather than the expected vibrato for this pedal. It does not sound like the numerous demo videos I've watched on this thing.

Does anyone have a nice hi-res scan of the schematics and some suggestions if they have encountered something similar to this issue before? Additionally, any modification recommendations? I bet that the distortion circuit can be opened up significantly...
