Not sure about the push-pull potentiometer.I love these...However i had bad luck with one from ebay that i installed on my p-bass 3-4 years ago.
The switch started to crackle like two years ago but now it is almost impossible to settle.The sound gets muted or distorted.
It might be a too hot setting on the soldering iron that damaged the switch.
You can always add that and remove it later

Made a few minor tweaks here and there and I think it's done now. Gain control now works like it should. It has a shipload of gain more now with a buffer, but the gain control can take you back to where it all started and way beyond that, lol.
