Help with Vox 847 wiring

I have done several mods to an older (non buffered i think?) Vox 847 wah. It is revision "C".   I am getting a bypassed sound, but when I hit the switch I get a week guitar sound that does not change when rocking the pedal   This wah originally had only a battery and no 9v jack. I have installed one.  Can someone tell me where the loose wires and other wiring is supposed to go. At this point the purple and extra black wire of the pot are unconnected. I have cut the brown wire (and shrink wrapped it in yellow) that come off of the multi plug per some instructions I saw online
