Looking at Madbean's Current Lover (Electric Mistress) schematic, Pin 4 of the BBD has just the 10uf coming off it to ground, shouldn't the highlighted net be labelled as VC?

What makes you say that? The example circuit in the data sheet for the 3007 has a 3u3 to ground coming off of that pin.

Oh its just because ive recently seen a schematic of the mn3207 version of the EM and was just wondering

Watch out! the schematic posted is not correct.
pin 4 must be connected to Vgg (=Vdd +1, ~1V).
There's nothing providing this voltage on the schemo.. you'll need a 2 resistors or , at least, 1 diode to ground more
"NOT FLAMMABLE" is not a challenge

Actually, at 9v Vgg should be 9-9(14/15) (IIRC) which works out to 0.6v. In practice, Vgg sits a few mV above ground naturally and works pretty much the same without the extra voltage divider. Originally, this project let you choose between MN3007 and MN3207 and it did have a resistor network to set the proper Vgg. When I changed it to MN3007 only I think I tested it the way you see it now and it worked fine (been a few years). But, totally - I probably should have set it up the way you suggest.

(correction - I think it's VC-VC(14/15), so at 15v it does work out to 1v.)
