Choosing Volume Pots Feedback Looper

I'm building a feedback looper and i want to add a volume control for the effect loop and one for the amount of feedback. What values should i choose for the pots and am I wiring them as variable resistors or as voltage dividers?

Whoooops thought the first topic didn't go through, guess I was wrong.

I realized I ought to just try some out myself, I decided on a 10k log pot for the volume and still undecided for feedback.
