[edit :] C7 on V0.1 schem shows wrongly 470uF - on the bb is only 47uF. your choice.

I spent a little time earlier re-doing the graphics - I'm considering a common theme of coloured paint pens over a satin black base.

As most who mention it seem to describe it as the happy accident or happy little accident circuit I thought I'd reflect that and rename it

It's a dreadful photo (a very gloomy day here and I didn't swap the bulb above my pedals for the 200w one I bought for pedal pictures) but you get the idea. Once I've added a couple more coats to the red letters I'll try and replace it with a decent photo!

Built the original version by the layout above.  It is verified.  Put it in a 1590A today.  Used 100K linear for the Bass control, and 100K audio for the gain.  Sounds nice and wacky!  Haven't tried it with a drive or fuzz pedal in front, though.
