Elite Tone Smooth Boost pedal

I bought this pedal used. It's a one-knob pedal. At low setting (knob at 9:00), delivers clean boost, at high setting (knob at 3:00), delivers boost with tasty crunch.

I like the crunch tone, but unity gain is at 12:00. So the clean boost is a volume drop. I'd like it a lot more if 12:00 gave me clean boost. Anyone know much about these? Manufacturer is Elite Tone, model is Smooth Boost.
