Switch numbering question

Before I start asking deeper questions about my Parallel Universe build and why things might not be working properly can I just check what is the usual way a SPDT (ON/ON) is numbered ?

If there are three points to solder to (numbered 1, 2 and 3 on a layout) - are one and three either side of two, as I've assumed ?

It seems the most logical as pots are numbered in the same way, but it doesn't hurt to check before I start measuring voltages etc.

This is correct! Two is the common terminal and 1/3 are the two on the outside.
