Callate 2 (MXR Noise Gate) Mosfet options

Hi, Guys.  I am almost done building a Callate 2 (MXR Gate) from a board I had laying around for a while from tonepad (here is the build doc). 



I got all the diodes, resistors, caps, etc. in, EXCEPT for Q3 (soldered in a socket).  Now the issue is that I have neither a 2N5485 nor a 2N5952 on stock.  Considering the rather large number of transistors I have, that was a bit of a surprise...  Anyway, any ideas on what other mosfet I can use?  I was thinking of using a NTE451; what do you guys think?  Values seem identical (gain data is not on both, though)...

You are after a JFET device and not a MOSFET.
Happily the NTE451 will work in the Callate 2 noise gate.
