It's better to leave it in - it drains *that* side of the input cap.

You usually end up with "some" DC bleed on *both* sides of any capacitor.

And how can having a bleeder only the right side reduce the need for a bleeder on the left side?

Got it - Makes sense.  Also makes me wonder if I should have one before the coupling cap (C4).   (posed as a statement b/c I promised no more questions  :icon_mrgreen:)
