Hi Guys

I just started doing my own stompboxes. I don't know what do do next, but I will do somtething in future. The problem is, shipping costs are very high where I live.
Now, what should I order? What do you think, which parts are the must haves at home to start a new , simple project?

I think resistors with all possible values, some IC's and capacitors will do it. But which ICs, etc. What do you have always at home?

Cheers

BEER..!!!
(for welcome new members..) :icon_wink:

E12 series resistors & E6 series capacitors should be fine..
(don't get to high for electro caps values - up to 470μF at 16 or 25V..)

2 - 3 100k linear pots..

For IC's any general purpose op-amp, like TL072/082, should be O.K.
(in most cases, do prefer dual op-amps even if circuit calls for single ones..)

Also, some small signal amplifier n-p-n BJTs, like 2N3904, 2N5088/89, MPSA13/14..
(ok, and a couple of 2N3906 p-n-p for the shake of "just because"..) :icon_wink:

1N4148 & 1N4004 Diodes and a variety of coloured LEDs..

Of course, the above just scratch the surface and be prepared to have handy enough blank Excell sheets..  :icon_biggrin:
