Google Chrome is spyware, though maybe the addon is available for other browsers.

Somebody told how to do the fix manually in another thread a few days ago, I don't recall which thread though.  Right-click on picture, select "copy image location", paste in address bar, delete everything left of "photobucket".  A bit of a PITA, but it works, and not something I need to do very often anyway.

"This is not a Recommended Extension. Make sure you trust it before installing."

This apparently does not mean it is bad, only that it has not been "evaluated by FireFox staff". One of the ways they say to judge the safety of an un-Recommended extension is "...other users have installed this extension?", so your endorsement is valued.

I used the firefox one, it worked for a length of time but it seems Photo-bucket-of-**** did something to defeat it.
