Hi

Back to my early years:

I once copied an early Schaller fuzz made of AC151 PNP germanium transistors, but then later some day I lost it. Luckily I bought 20 years ago 12 Siemens AC151 transistors, and I still have them. I have seen some shematics and photos, BUT I still miss the value of the volume pot. In Schaller (or Kent) version it also sets the bias of the second transistor. I do already know all the other component values. Does anybody know the output pot value of the PNP Scaller (or Kent) fuzz. It is very important to know. BTW the nOS Siemens AC151 I have seem to be fairly good with Hfe around 180.

Thanks in advance.

Try 10k, see how it sounds.  You can buy the small pot assortment for eBay for a few $.

The Volume pot is 100K according to some folks at the freestompboxes forum where an original unit was traced. http://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29260

did you finally build it? want to give it a try myself and have some of the same questions like biasing points and Hf3 to use...
... just standing on the shoulders of the diy stompbox scene out there.
