DS1 Keeley seeing eye/ultra mod turns on but no sound

I must have orientated the D4 led correctly as that activates in seeing eye mode.
seeing eye led to work in one position but not the other.

What is the color of those clipping LEDs? I saw one Youtube demo with DS-1 Ultra, which seems to have blue LED.

I think the standard is an ordinary 3mm Red. The real mojo comes if it's perfectly centred inside the "o" of Tone.

i had a DS1 on my breadboard for quite a while, and took it to jam sessions (as i often did with my bread board) to ask peoples opinions on the tones, and people seemed to like the combination Ge and Amber LED.

i suggest puting it sockets so you can experiment with the diodes.
also, using asymmetrical clipping one way can sound different the other way around
