Hi guys,

short question:

I'm currently working on a PedalPCB ARACHNID and miss one component. It's the 3.3V voltage regulator. I have a LD1117V33 LDO laying around and wonder if I could use it instead?

Thanks!
Thanks for help

The answer is yes and no. Yes you can replace that LD1117 3.3v reg for the 78l33 but it has a different pin out configuration so you will need to wire it in differently. ie the 78l33 has the middle pin ground while the middle pin on the LD117 is 3.3v so as long as you can solder it in place swapping pins around then you can use it.
