Looking for panel mount transistor sockets - or other ideas

Sure there are plenty of creative alternatives but I'm a stubborn dude with a vision  ::)

I was trying to find a good panel mount socket to use for a transistor tester (matching VBE). I have my circuit and wanted to box it up. After looking around I had found a page for these which are no longer available;

I can maybe find some from some iffy Chinese sites but I'm not much of a gambler - and they're expensive. So I'm looking for other sources or similar approaches for panel mount sockets.

Alternatively I could and probably will redesign the board for easy to obtain parts and offer them to the public. But right now I have crazy thoughts about an oldschool tester with a mounted center 0 mv meter. Would make a cool Rev.1 project  8)

How many do you need?

I have a few that I found a long time ago at a surplus store.  They are 3 pin....

Round, with no mounting flange.  You would just drill a hole and glue them in.

I used to really be with it!  That is, until they changed what "it" is.  Now, I can't find it.  And, I'm scared!  --  Homer Simpson's dad

I know zifs are cheaper but I'm a difficult man doing things the hard way  8)

If I were to use a zif I would try for a 16 pin which tayda does not stock. No big deal. Half for testing NPN pairs and the other half for PNP.

If I can't find these old panel mount sockets I'll redraw my circuit sooner rather than later. Thinking of a module made up of two stacked PCBs rather than housing the circuit. But that throws out my old school home-brew tester idea.

I know I can find these sockets somewhere - just not without risking getting scammed. Looking for a TO-220-4 or TO-92-4 sockets with mounting wings proves to not be an easy task.

To house my circuit I'd just need two. Most transistors I use are EBC anyhow so I could neglect the 4th pin for this one.
Are they TO-220 or TO-92?

TO-92.

I happen to have 2 with larger holes, that would better work for you.

Ah those would be perfect! Press-in too I believe. Found something similar on ebay but it was an assorted lot. Could probably find press-nuts to secure them.

PM me for deal/trade.

Thanks, Mark!

Panel mount 3 or 4 pin with mounting flange can be found in old Tektronix test equipment.

I've seen this thread but couldn't figure out where to find them!
