Hi. Teach me about this type of power supply and can I use them to power guitar effects?

Tracopower AC/DC Medical Power Supply
Ripple and noise (20 MHz Bandwidth) 50 mVp-p typ.

So with audio spectrum range at 20 Hz-20 kHz the switching freq for the power supply is way above that.. But will I run into other problems? I have a compressor pedal that needs 48V 300mA. So looking at Tracopower TPP 30-148-D.

Problem..?? No, not at all..!!
(a part of Medical Device, either under MD 745/2017 or IVD 746/217 assures the best behaviour in relevance with ordinary power supplies "pathogenies"..)

Overkill..?? Definately yes..!!  :icon_wink:

I presume so, Stephen..

I'm not in depth familiar with requirements of  IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 , but earth leakage of less than 100μΑ tends to verify it..

Hi Tom,

I am planning to use some similar modules to build a power supply. I wonder if you have achieved good results with them?
