Attack Release mod for Diamond Comp?

So assuming this is the correct schematic for the compressor, is there a way to add variable attack and release to it?

Maybe attack could be done, but release is dependent on VTL characteristic.

Attack is better than nothing, problem is that the components responsible for the attack release time here are different from what I am used to on other optical compressors, like the Warden


OK, so I took a second look at the schematic for the EQD Warden.....and it looks almost exactly like a Diamond Comp but with attack, release and ratio

Generalizing from the Dynacomp to this one, the relevant components would seem to be R27 and C21.
