Do I need to match any of the transistors in this flying pan clone circuit? I tried contacting BYOC but havent heard back.

Parts list at the top and schems at the bottom.

Are we suppose to read the instructions for you?

If the phaser was FET-based you'd want to try and match the FETs fairly closely.  But the FETs in the panning section don't need to be.

It would be helpful if there was a simple way to reduce the panning depth for the circuit.  I don't know how closely the BYOC version mimics the original, but the original was cool for 30 seconds, after which it became annoying, largely because the panning depth made the effect too damn busy and distracting.  A gentler pan would make it more tolerable.

I linked the instructions because it has all the schematics, I already read em dont worry ;) it doesnt mention anything in there - I'm asking yall because the instructions are for a kit that includes all the parts and I'm building it from just the pcb. I was afraid they didnt mention anything because the transistors included in the kit are already matched for you.

Thanks! Theres optocouplers in the phase circuit which would have to mean its opto based and not fet (or OTA) right?

Yeah that would be nice. Could I add a split n blend for each channel maybe?

there are a bunch of trimpots in this pedal, thats so you don't have to match the Jfet's, as for the other transistors, no, they are biassed independent of transistor specs so no matching needed
friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.
