does anyone have experience with the "simple vibrato" circuit?

i saw this on google images, and wondered if it is any good? i am planning on building a lofi/warble pedal.

the features i want to add are:
1} warble/vibrato
2} bandwith reduction
3} crossover distortion

the crossover and band with reduction will be accomplished with filtering and diodes,
the only thing is the vibrato circuit, is this circuit any good?

it need not be a perfect vibrato like a pt2399 could deliver, a weird little lofi warble would be cool tho

friendly reminder: all holes are positive and have negative weight, despite not being there.

This is basically Tim Escobedo's Wobbletron.

You'll get the same result but using less parts by building the Magnavibe:

Here's how it sounds. The overdrive sound comes from something else, not from the Magnavibe.
