There was another post about Joe Davisson's Vulcan so I thought I'd post the Easy Drive I had on my desk.

I got this desktop mill and have been learning to make PCBs with it. I thought to start with a single transistor project and work my way into more complicated things.

This is the second version. The first version had the volume control backwards. I also made a couple changes to the off board wiring.
I also milled a 3PDT switch board.

Any link to that mill?  That board looks freaking awesome!
I build.  I fix.  I fix again.  And again.  And yet again.  (sometimes again once more).  Then I have something that works! (Most of the time!).

It's not cheap. The mill is limited to 4" by "5. I've used it to mill PCBs and enclosures. If there's one standout feature it's how it handles Eagle files. You just import a .brd file and start milling.

It will mill two sided boards but doesn't create vias, you'll need to handle this by soldering a lead to both sides of board and planning accordingly.
