Hey there,
I try to put my head around on bypassing guitar effect pedal but got confused with all the info out there.

I have got a DPDT switch and I create this way of bypassing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoN5KosLj_4

so in position 1: signal goes from input through the effect and to the output jack.
Position 2: signal goes to ground.

How can I make the connection with the switch I have that in position 2 the signal will go strait from the input jack to the output jack ? is it possible with DPDT switch?

Thanks!

That's not at all what the video is showing. It's showing exactly what you're asking. Are you confused about the schematic representation of switches?
