Crybaby mod help please. Wiring 2 caps to a toggle?

I am slowly attempting to complete my first wah mod. Crybaby GCB-95 Rev. G. Following the mods on the Stinkfoot site.

I am ready for the frequency or lower range mod, replacing the .01uF cap. He recommends .022uF, or .068 for a bass wah. Will a .047uF be ok to try? I would like to try the .022 and .047 on a switchable mini toggle.

After removing the original .01uF cap, which I have not done yet, I am unsure of how to properly integrate the toggle switch into the mix. Do the center legs of the switch wire to the 2 points on the pcb where the .01 cap resides?

What type of a toggle is it? You mention "middle legs" (plural) which makes it sound like a DPDT. A simple SPST would be enough. If it was a centre-off type, you could have three options.

Also worth mentioning you don't *have to* remove the 0.01 cap if you don't want to. Parallel cap values add, so if your switch brings in another 0.01 along side, you get 0.02 total. Other switch position could bring in 0.022 for 0.03 total. Off position in the centre leaves the pedal stock.

I have a few switches to choose from. Been harvesting parts from this piece. I’d like to stick to just 2 caps for this project. This will be my UFO/MSG switch, at least in my head haha, for a M. Schenker idea. I am re-housing this project in a desktop parked wah sort of device for my bedroom studio. Also open to other suggestions or advice for this.

Does this look correct, or am I way off?

Way off..!!

SPDT is probably ON-ON (no centre-OFF), so connect blue wire at one of C5 pad (any of two..), wire one leg of 22nF on left lug, one leg of 47nF on right lug and both caps free legs on C5 other (free) pad..

Haha I was afraid of that, so thank you. Learning.

Well I've installed the mini toggle with the 2 caps. Pedal works well and sounds good. Big tone difference between the .022 and .047 caps, more than I expected.

The only problem I seem to have is unwanted line noise when the wah is switched off. When I touch the input and/or output jacks, the noise gets even louder.

Not fully knowing what I'm doing yet, but I'll poke around.

Another switch question. Looking at Stinkfoot's mid control mod, I'm thinking I could have a 3-way mid cut/boost switch here. For example 1.2k (cut), 1.5k (stock), 1.8k (boost). What type of switch is needed to make this work? Also any tips on how to wire it all together would be awesome.
