Since all my gigs have been cancelled i got around to do something ive been Thinking about for a long time.
Two veroboard overdrives, one byoc chorus and musikding bluelay and 3verb.
Wired according to madbean wiring for two pedals(extended) and powered with onespot and a huminator on vero (down left corner) with 22R on delay and reverb.

The overdrives and chorus works perfectly, BUT the delay gives me no effect and low volume clean signal, LED lights up.

The reverb  gives me effect but a volume drop.

Any ideas? There might be something obvious, i have built a Couple of pedals and preamps before but not like  this.
Thankful for help!

Do you have a multimeter? Have you checked the supply voltages?

As for the volume drop on the reverb, which 3verb version do you have? One with output volume knob?

fiestared

Thanks for the reply! Yes i have a multimeter. I would be glad to know how to use it to test this, since im not used to troubleshooting, but want to learn. I have the two knob version of the 3verb with decay and mix knob.

There is a trimpot on the 3verb (P1), you can use that to alter the volume from the pedal  :D

I have tried with the trimpot, at full its still only about 1/2 or maybe 2/3 of the signal when its bypassed. But I get reverb, the delay on the other hand as stated gives me no effect. Only LED light and very low non-effected signal.

I would be grateful for any input on troubleshooting.

On delay IC1 pin 8 is 08.16 volt. So i guess it gets the right amount of power?

Set your multimeter to dc voltage. If it doesn't have the auto range feature, set it to 20V. Power the effects. You don't have to plug a guitar or a amp, just power. Put the black probe on ground (it could be any ground point. The enclosure, the jack, or anything you think it's easier). With the red probe, get the readings of the +9V pad of each non working board, then get the voltage of every pin of every ic of each non working board. Post the voltages here, along with a link to the kit you used. Surely we can catch a wrong voltage and guide you how to proceed.

8.16V on pin 8 of a ic, assuming pin 8 is V+, may be a low-ish voltage. But, to be sure, we need those other measures.

Just a tip for next builds. For multi effects, it's usually a better idea to build and test each of them before putting all of them together. It's easier to debug.

Thank you. Will do this and post here soon. And thanks for the tip. I guess i kind of asked for trouble not testing them individually first.

Btw IC1 same pin on reverb is around 6 volts. Am i using the right resistor in the huminator? As stated its 100r for the other pedals and 22r for delay and reverb. Could the huminator affect the volume on the reverb and the problems with the delay?
