Jawari Transformer

Thanks very much for posting this, I've always wanted to build one of these pedals and I've never been sure about what transformer to use. Did you use a J201 in the circuit or did you substitute it for anything else? Daft question for you, but I've never used a transformer in a pedal before; is it obvious which way round the transformer goes in the circuit or does it not matter and either side is the same? Is that why you can emit the link (on the schematic) from the center of the transformer on the out side to ground?

I liked your playing; I think splitting your signal so that you could lower it by an octave and then maybe add some reverb and mix back with the original jawari sound might sound good?

Yes , I used J201 and the transformer can be any way round as this one has no center tap
As for the playing , I play bass in a band , this was just messing around

Thanks for telling me. I've got some J201s in SMD format and some little PCBs to attach them to so it's time to start squinting really hard and see if I can solder one of them!
