Hello. Does anyone have a schematic for the Ibanez SD10 Distortion Charger. Im trying to repair a not working LED.

Non working LED but the bypass works fine?  :o
Have you measured the anode voltage? Cathode resistor making it to GND? Looked fine? Tried replacing the LED?
Are there two separate boards in there? The connections between the two are fine?

The bypass system is typical for boss and ibanez stuff.
Not great but here ya go;

Thank you for replying! I was working with that schematic but its pretty hard to read.. I have 9 volts on anode and when i read the cathode i see descending volts, not 0. I traced the path and the diode between Q10 colector and the junction from the resistor and the 4.7uf has been replaced. meassuring 500mv and it is well oriented.. I canot read the diode part on that schematic so i am a little bit lost. Effects works great but no Led. the conections from the small boarrd to the main are correct. When i meassure the diode with no power it lights up meassuing 1200mv so i dont know where to start.. Could it be a problem in Q10?

Does anyone know what type of diode D2 should be? There was a 1n4148 there that someone replaced and now im having 0 volts on colector q16 which is i think what is shunting the transistor

Ok so acording to the Tube Screamer schematic that uses a similar method to light up the LED, the diode there should be a 4.7 Zenner diode and someone replaced it with a 1n4148. Now i should get some 4.7 zenners because i only have 5 and 12 volts

5=5.1
(more realistic approach..)  :icon_lol:

Do you think i could use a 5.1v zsenner there?

I think the zener is used as a "check battery" feature - the led won't light if the battery is less than X.X Volts, so you know to change the battery. if you only run on external DC, it won't probably matter.

go 5V1.
