Needing some help!
I am trying to add a LED to my foot switch for my Marshall Jubilee clone.
It uses a latched on/off switch. In the open position it is sending 7.8 volts DC down the line. (OD channel, with the LED on the head lit). In the closed position head is on the clean channel, no voltage.
Trying to get my head around how to go about this. The LED on the switch need to light up when the foot switch is in open position and getting voltage.
And i really don't want to use a battery.
Any help would be appreciated!

First of all, Welcome.. :icon_wink:

Can't figure out your particular switch but a p-n-p BJT configuration could be your solution..
(in case of, no voltage means GND or 0V - not "open"..)
