In the not so distant future, I want to build a de-esser.  I found a nice circuit, but it lists this chip.  I found the SSM2141 (which it also uses), but not the 2142.  Searched in Tayda, Mouser, Digikey, and general google searches with no results.  Any ideas?
I build.  I fix.  I fix again.  And again.  And yet again.  (sometimes again once more).  Then I have something that works! (Most of the time!).

I think that's an obsolete part so none of the big distributors have them in stock. I'm not sure where you might find them unless you get lucky on eBay. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Check out the DRV134PA from TI. Mouser has it in stock.

Best regards, Jack

Thanks, Jack.  That may just work!!!  I will order a couple and breadboard the circuit.

The THAT1646 is also compatible (apparently!) I have not used them myself, but they are designed as that.
