High Gain Circuit Problems

I've got them soldered on the board but with one leg each lifted and soldered together. That way I can try hooking them up to other parts of the board with clips. I actually placed them in the soft clipping stage with a switch to choose between the LED's and the existing diodes. In this scenario the LED's both flicker and seem to work perfectly so I must be something happening with the OP amp?
