An old friend of mine cleaned out his studio, and dropped off a suitcase full of goodies! Including this bad boy:

I'm sure it won't take more than a few seconds, but hey why not, who can guess what it is first?

I was going to say Deluxe Big Muff.  The one with the Muff and Soul Preacher in one pedal.  But then I saw that red rocker switch at the side.  Yup, that's a Mu-Tron product.

nicely done FiveseveN! And everyone else :)

I sort of started this as a place marker. It needs some TLC, and a new power supply, because I'm not f'ing around playing guitar with that thing plugged into mains. 15V, that's not gonna be hard to manage. It makes some crazy phased out squeals and odd noises, so hopefully none of the money parts are shot, but whatever, I'll replace what I need to. I'll start by plugging it in to my meanwell power supply and see what happens. Hopefully we can bring this thing back to life. I'd love to send my buddy a track with that on it.
Time to start digging through old threads...

You should measure the LDR range of resistances and the notch frequencies at extremes of the sweep.   The set-up of those things isn't well documented.

According to the water analogy of electricity, transistor leakage is caused by holes.
