Hi all,

I've built my Little Angel Chorus a couple of weeks ago. Finally, got the knobs as well. But now I'm having issues with output noise. The pedal works, it produces a chorus but outputs noise by itself. Even when a guitar is not plugged in. I used multiple cables, rechecked my soldering and wires, and everything seems fine, yet the pedal still outputs noise. So what could be causing the noise?

I hope the link to the video works, if not let me know:

You may find the mantra here is, "don't make us work too hard to help you". I can't see your video on my work computer, so maybe some of these questions are answered there - what revision are you using? Can you post the schematic and layout? What are your voltages? Have you tried different PT2399s? Where did you get your PT2399? What power supply are you using?

I believe there has been some discussion on here about better performance from the PT2399 using 6V, rather than 5V. Also, the Little Angel design appears to always have the output connected to the PT2399. This is an inherently noisy chip, so the recommendation is to buy from reputable sources and or audition chips until you find one that works best.
