Klon Klone: Trebble knob cutting volume w/ always muddy dark tone

 I have checked over everything, but i cannot get it working correctly. I have checked my connections and cant get it to work correctly. The level and gain seem to work correctly, but the treble increase the volume and it stays super muddy with zero clarity.

Hey, did you ever figure this out? I think I am facing the exact same thing. When it is off it noticeably reduces my signal and tone. When on it sounds underwater (you describe as muddy, which seems similar). The knobs dont do anything noticeable for me. Any tips?
