Any chance you did a quick schematic of that setup, Rob?  Looks like a couple of things changed, it would be helpful to see the end result laid out that way.  Interesting project, might be a neat feature to include in a new amp - or compressor!    Thanks.

indeed they do....nothing wrong with a bit of bling....


anyway, the vero i put up is now verified....works fine.  (just add another 9v+ and ground for the lamp)

and as promised here is the tweaked schemo....have fun.
