Klon + Rat dual pedal problem

I have the GGG circuits of the Klon and Rat.  Both circuits work individually, but I am having trouble combining them into one enclosure.  The Klon is the first circuit in series with the Rat.  As mentioned, they will both work individually, but with both engaged I have problems when the Klon's volume and gain knobs are at maximal.  If I back off on the volume knob to about 25%, the circuits work gloriously (Truly, it is a masterful sound).  When the volume is above the 25% sweet spot there will be no sound or there will be massive feedback until a note/chord is played.  Once the note/chord is played, the pedal will gate/no sound.  Below are the wiring diagrams used.  I haven't done any voltages, because I know that the circuits work individually (if needed, let me know).  I suspect there is an off board wiring, so I did double check my wiring and I have wired everything according to the diagram.  Do you all have any thoughts?  As always, I appreciate the help.  Take care,  AE

Update- I tried placing a buffer pedal (Boss tuner) prior to the pedal, hoping to determine if an input buffer might rectify the issue. However, the problem persisted.

Would there be an issue that the pedals share the same power supply?

Two high gain circuits into same enclosure need careful wiring routing.. :icon_wink:
(massive feedback is an indicator for the above..)

Could you plz post some pics of your build..??

Thanks. Sounds like I may need to combine different circuits. The off board wiring is really tight, and I think you are correct. Thanks again.
