as ringed wiring is not allowed. the rivets can expand with soldering heat, the lug goes loose and you have an intermittant fault to find. the lumpy solder joint in the wrong position can also short to the case - fails when you've assembled it, but works when you pull it out - another fun thing to track down.

Hey - yes.. im aware of that potential grounding issue.. ive encountered it before! This circuit will be housed in a wooden enclosure.
