Didn't find a previous topic about that, despite the huge amount of discussions about RG Keen's mixer...

With specific sources (ie Teenage Engineering's OP-Z), I still have (little) audio passing through at full CCW, though OP-Z has a 'normal' output I believe, not especially loud.
(I have to specify I replaced R13 by a 250k pot to get some extra dBs on the master, if needed).

Is there a way to mute completely the audio when pot's at minimum ?

With the control completely CCW, the input should be grounded, so there shouldn't be any signal coming through.

It sounds to me like you've got a cr4p pot that doesn't go completely to zero.

E.D.'s got a good point. Some pots don't go fully to the end of the electrical resistance by the time the mechanical rotation stops. I've run into this many times. It's a function of the mechanics of the pot. If you happen to have an pot of a different style/brand, try that and see if it helps.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

And some pots go past the end! I've got one on a guitar that catches me every time. Turn down to 1% - silence. A little but further down to 0% and I get full volume again. CTS pot so nothing unusual. I've probably been buying fakes again ;)
