Twenty years ago was the birth of runoffgroove.com, created first as documentation of my DIY effect pedal projects and eventually growing to share original circuits.

I created the site to give back to the community that taught me and it's been a privilege to provide inspiration to others.

Thank you for all your support as well as much gratitude and respect to my collaborators, Gary and Sebastian.

Congratulations!
What are the plans with the site, given that "what's new" shows latest update in 2015, or is that because that page is not updated?

Great site with great info!

I have many amplifiers, but the one I have been using almost exclusively lately is a Ruby.

I enjoyed the Fetzer valve write up too.  I'd love to see something developed from the original cited author's follow-up paper (I'll edit this post when I find the link again).  Edit: here.

Technical difficulties.  Please stand by.

Congrats.

And of course, kudos for the fact almost all circuits had sound samples. Very modern. Very in to the audiences needs.

Congrats!  And congrats on 20 years of service.

Ironically, this morning I was just writing to someone about how I first learned about the FAC control in Orange amps via the Matchbox circuit.

I know that mojo in electronics comes from design, but JFETs make me wonder...

Thank you for all your kind words. I can state without hyperbole that the site wouldn't exist in its current form without this forum and its members. The runoffgroove.com team was formed from members here and we have collaborated with several more on various projects. So a huge portion of our thanks are to Aron and the forum's generosity.

Yes, the site has been dormant while "real life" has taken our time away from development. I'm happy to see the community here has continued their enthusiastic building and learning. We may once again proudly create a "New at runoffgroove.com..." post as I very much enjoyed to do in the past.

Thanks again,
Brian

Congratulations, time seems to get away even on the internet  :icon_mrgreen:

Good to see you are still up and running.   Plenty of sites have come and gone.

Congratulations! If I were not confined to a phone atm (broadband down, PC no worky...), I would post a celebratory sausage pic.  :)

Just think, in a year's time your site will be old enough to vote.  Is it going to vote silicon or germanium?  Or is semiconductor politics not allowed here?

Seriously, congratulations on a great site.

Congrats. Expecting new from ROG too.

Still remember joy and eureka moment when build thor and mockman v1. Thank you!

I still remember the sensational feeling when my Tubereamer (v1) fired up at first try. I think it was my second build and my first dirt effect.

That was moment that got me hooked on this hobby. So it's your fault Brian  8).

I guess the questions to ask are:

1) Are there parts you relied on a while back that are either hard-to-get, obsolete, or eclipsed at present?

2) If you have the stats, what projects would have had the most hits/downloads?

3) Assuming you can find the time, are there any new directions you'd strike out on at this point in DIY pedal history?  That can be either the projects themselves or the way they reach users?
