PNP circuits with standard DC jacks with battery clips

Can someone please just post for me a simple wiring layout for a PNP circuit with standard DC jacks and battery clips.
I learned this once a few years ago but my old geezer memory is failing me.

I should add this is a standard BOSS dc jack (so it has to be wired as Positive ground)
