I am still a novice diy pedal guy but am improving/learning. I've just brought a 70s Morley Tel-Ray PWA Auto Wah back from the dead so maybe there's hope for me.

Next up, the PWO Power Wah. I am missing part of the bulb retaining clip. The copper piece where the solder connection is made, and the black metal piece that sits behind it, making contact with the bulb. The nut & screw that hold them in place also. Is there a source for such parts?

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for the Tel-Ray PWO?

If anyone can post a gut shot of their PWO, that would be very helpful also. Please and thank you.

Any tips or guidance is also much appreciated.

Also interested in adding a proper 3-prong power cord.

Morley sells parts direct - you could check with them. Here's a PWO schematic from 97 - not sure if it would match the early Tel-Ray units.

This looks like a later model PWO and not for a Tel-Ray. 9v battery snap for example.

Give 'em a call, they probably can tell what parts it needs by a number on the PCB, model number, etc...

Don't let something as trivial as a battery snap dictate your judgment - check to see if what you have corresponds to the schematic. Many Morley circuits stayed the same over several different incarnations. This one is probably closer if not identical to what you have (except for power supply) - it's for the Slimline version:

The copper piece is what makes contact with the bulb an the power wire is soldered to it, it's just a small piece that's folded so the wire can be soldered inside the fold, and it acts like a spring slightly depending on how tight the bolt/nut are. The black piece is an insulator isolating the copper bit from the frame. The frame is the ground for the bulb. The nut is 1/4 and the screw is 3/16 and I believe it's 3/8ths long, all are stainless steel there.
