From Synthcube's FB:

"For those interested from time to time in synth and/or stompbox DIY parts-- assuming all goes as planned, here is where we are in terms of synthCube + Small Bear combining forces:

1) All of the necessary agreements, paperwork, licenses etc have been agreed to by both parties and are expected to be executed and recorded by April 6, 2022 or so.
2) The existing Small Bear inventory will be relocated from New York to Boston sometime between April 6-April 10, 2022.
3) The Small Bear webstore will continue to run, and will be open for orders again on or around April 10. More details will be posted here, in the  newsletters and various social media channels as the date approaches.
4) We'll be re-ordering low stock and out-of-stock items in earnest; the plan for the time being is to continue to stock everything that Small Bear has traditionally stocked.
5) For the time being, prices on the Small Bear website will not be increased.

Our goal is to begin accepting orders again as early as April 10 or so, and to be up to speed quickly for fast shipping and great service as things settle in.  Of course, questions welcome here --and/or via email/PM etc

Of course, surprises do happen but this is the plan at the moment.

Hey welcome back!!!!

I've met the team. They're great folks! Also their new storefront looks nice!
It's very good news that they plan to continue to keep inventory of our beloved pedal parts. There's a handful of stuff you can't find anywhere else. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was stressing out about it.

Thanks for the update!

Wow, thanks for pasting that update here.  I would have missed it completely otherwise.  Exciting!

I've never dealt with Synthcube, but I'm prepared to hand over my wallet to them just like I did with Smallbear.   :icon_wink:

Technical difficulties.  Please stand by.

Thanks for the update, Rick.  Good news for those west of the water (and elsewhere).

Ohm's Law - much like Coles Law, but with less cabbage...

Strategy

I'm a customer of both stores for different products / projects, because I built synths as well as pedals. And I corresponded briefly with the proprietor of Synthcube when this first came up, noting a number of Smallbear products I use for ALL my builds (not just pedals). I don't know any of the people involved in a deep way but I'm appreciative that anyone from the Synth-DIY world recognizes what Small Bear did and how the markets overlap / are mutually supporting. Bodes well in my opinion. I've never had a service issue with Synthcube and they seem organized so I would expect that to meld well with what I've come to expect from Small Bear over the years.
This is honestly a huge relief to me to still have Small Bear around. Probably ordered more from them than any other place aside from maybe Mouser. (never got into the Tayda thing as much.)
