Hi everyone, a friend of mine just purchased a Marshall 6100 amp, and asked me to build him a proper footswitch. It should be easy, 3 mom fs, and a couple of uncommon (for me) chips that aren't easy to find (I see aliexpress has some, both smd or th but delivery time is...ali-no-express)

Do you think these chips can be replaced? do you know what chips would fit for the job? it's hc574 and hc86, as in this SCHEM HERE.

Try 74HC574.

DigiKey is showing a thousand+ in-hand at a buck a pop.

Also try the base number 74574, because I don't see any reason this job needs HC series CMOS, high speed pedal??

Yeah the chip itself is buck a pop, while the shipping (18 euros from germany) is f-u-c-k a pop!!! no way!!!

better try find them locally, even if overpriced I'd get them with no waiting time.
