So I finally made his fet piezo circuit x 2, and it's fantastic! I spent well over a decade dreaming of his 5534 version running off of phantom power (yea, no chance) to slap on drums without the gumption to dedicate time to develop necessary skills. So I slapped 1/4" jacks on thin ply for battery power portion, twisted leads and soldered to the disc, and (yea speaker wire, dates to early times) wired to plugs. The sound off my acoustic comes through clear with deep lows, even distortion if played loud (left the gain cap out, but may need trim pots).

I'm excited to tape it to many a thing to run through stomp boxes!
