Hello
These are on a treadmill motor connecting to a circuit board.
Tight area.
How do you disconnect these from the terminal on the board ?
Jaws of life ? Pray ? Call 911 ? Help...

They look self-locking. And in a bad place. And vinyl-shrouded.

I'd be real tempted to cut them a few inches out, then splice the new wires. Unless it has warranty value?

Thanks PRR, yes solder and splice, shrink tube and tape.
I called their tech support and they said because of Safety they would not advise wire nuts, which is what I asked at first. But getting the solder iron out and do a professional job. The board is not in warranty. The new motor is, which we got today. So not wanting to ruin the board I will splice.

What do these green doughnut things do ?
Ground wire from motor wraps around one.
Black and red wires from motor wrap around the other.

Usually I just grab them with needle nose pliers and twist back and forth while lifting.  Those donuts are ferrites to suppress noise.

Ferrite beads (chokes)..
(suppress high-frequency noise)

EMI Control
