How to Bypass Klon Gain Stage

Hey all,

This is a crazy question, but I was looking at the boost Bill Finnegan brought to Namm a few years ago which I believe was essentially a Klon with just the volume and tone control. No gain/clipping stage. I want to build one of these with one of the Aion Centaur PCB's I have. Is it as easy as jumping from C3 to R16 on the provided schematic? Anything I should be worried about?
