ANyone have some hints to using this stuff?
I have had a terrible time this week trying every method I could find.
Lazertran destroyed a machine at kinkos.
The ink jet lazertran mostly bled all over. Very small stuff was ok but I kinda want to be able to read it...LOL
Not even sure if the ink jet lazertran is ok on metal.
ANyway I am unsure about how to use Steves but I have heard recently about using a clear coat on it like the lazertran.
ANyway anyone with any experience with Steves or any ink jet decals please share your experience.
Thanks!

On the Mosferatu I used Avery 3276 Ink Jet Decals for Windows.  I have an OfficeJet D135.  Check the pics at www.hermidaaudio.com, click on the links Front/Back.  Not a single problem...let them dry for a few minutes before handling them though.

I had good results, very easy.
Just print your labels on the sheet then spray the sheet with a coat of clear Krylon, etc.
Let it dry (I let it dry overnight)
Cut out the label and soak it in water for 30 seconds to a minute.
GENTLY rub the label between your fingers and you will feel the label slip away from the backing
Put the label where you need it while it is still wet. Carefully blot out the excess water with a paper towel or something.
Let it dry in place, then paint a layer of clearcoat.

Cool guys thanks!
Another quick question.
Did either of you have any problems with bleeding and what kind of printer setting did you use?
Steve (in the tweak-o) directions says to print as heavy as possible.
I am worried to do that becuase the lazertran said to put it on thin and it bled none the less.
I am wondering if I should only try to do things with finer lines.
Some of my labels are thick lettered and just huge things.
I wish I had bought more....
Well waht you all think about putting it on heavy or light?
I was thinking of using the glossy photo setting with my printer as this bled much less with the ink jet lazertran than the transperancy setting.
Sadly both og those are useless due to bleeding.
Sure would be nice to lay it on thick.
Well if no answer and I find out which paper is for ink jet (white backed or blue) I will try it light and see what happens....
Wish me luck!!!
