Hey wise ones, I'm trying to get this Vero build to work and I get no signal when engaged. There are a couple of things I was not sure about.

The build calls for a 2 pole 6 position rotary switch, the one I ordered has 12 positions so I just moved the selector washer to create 6 positions but I'm wondering If I simply got the wrong switch?

The layout has pole A and pole B, mine has pole A and C (B and D being cut off) - does that still translate?

Finally, the layout has two connections marked as B1. I assumed they just connect to one another and used a jumper, but is this referring to a switch pin? Very confused by this pesky switch, any insight would be gratefully received. Thanks!

The proper 2x6 switches have two separate poles that can then be switched to each of six positions. Taking a 1x12 switch and limiting its range turns it into a 1x6 switch, unless there's something very special going on on the wafer.

I'm sorry, but I'd say you've got the wrong switch. Save the 1x12 for some other job and get the right one.

pole A and pole C. 2 pole, 6 position. still translates. use an A, B, C and D body for single, double and four pole switches, only fit [in production] the pole lugs you want. rotate the switch full counter clockwise first, then locate the 6 position washer.

the layout diagram can only make sense when the circuit diagram is also shown.

Thanks for the input. It is a two pole switch, so I followed Duckarse's advice and locked in 6 positions with the washer then wired it with Poles A and C, it seems to work. Thank you
